Where has this year gone

Oh my this year has gone by so quickly. More so now that I am busy with so many different things. School for me is done is a few weeks, then I am will begin a directed study with the one prof. with a few other classmates. The school district starts "Holiday" break on the 21st. And then I will get to do as I need for a week and a half.
And speaking of holidays...Christmas shopping is almost done. DD is about done, just a few more gifts. DH, I am working really hard with the one coach from our track program to help me with matting and framing DH's grandfathers map of the family oil field he inherited. DH has NOT a clue as to what I am doing. He keeps asking for stuff for the business. Not happening. I think he will truly love what I am going to have for him. And to add to the present, I just got word from a teacher in our vocational area that he can take slides and put them to disk. This is great so I can get those slides put into pictures for not just DH, but for my MIL and her mom as well. They had a one picture published in a book about the booming oil fields from 1900s to present day. I cant wait to see every ones faces when they open up their presents now.
And to top everything all off...People are starting to ask if we are hosting this years New Year's Eve party! NOPE! Not doing it...my annual "white trash can party" for the adults and the kids Halloween party are enough for me this year. Besides that, what do I do with my DD? Hello, and with the friends and family I have, we all know that a bunch of Italians are loud and don't know when to be quiet at times. Imagine that!
OK enough for now, I should be around for more another day!
Have a lovely!

And its coming

Well, things are sounding good for me at the agency. I have been trying to pursue the part time position as the PE teacher as well as teaching some health classes. (Work has been rather slow if non existent lately, but that is the way it goes.) The admin in the school are looking to help me out by purposing the idea of me filling that position within the agency. Now I have to wait to hear what is going to happen. I have fulfilled all the minimal criteria for the position, and then some, but not yet certified. And they are willing to work with me on that. I am so excited about this and look forward to working with the school even more. It really wants makes me want to look into Adapted PE, concentrating on behavioral and emotional issues. Shall see. Wish me luck.

Intro

not much for me to do at this point but introduce myself!

Me:

I am Melissa, and 35. I am a 9-11 baby, yes. Lucky for me. But it will have to do, and I have no probs with it. I get a lot of jokes and "really" out of it.

I am married, and happily for 5 years now! Have a beautiful daughter.

I have gone back to school to finish what I should have done in the first place...Boy I have gotten wiser as I have gotten older. (smarter too, I have more A's now compared to my first go about. LOL). It hasn't been that bad either. Gezz on a part time basis, I will be doing my student teaching next year at this time! Wooo Hoooo! Just 7 more classes to take.

Been working for the same agency for almost 6 years now, in social work. I shadow children in schools that have emotional, behavioral and mental disabilities. I really enjoy it too, but my heart is in Health and Physical Education. And to help me out in school, I have been teaching in the agency's Alternative Ed Program as the intern gym teacher. That I am really enjoying!!!!

Dear Hubby:

He's 33. Worked in a factory for 10 years sharpening knives. Was offered a voluntary layoff one summer and decided to pursue his passion of welding. That was 2 years ago, and he has done very well. People thought I was crazy for letting him do this. He has a great family, and I couldn't have asked for a better family to marry into! They are awesome people! Great talkers too!

Dear Daughter...

My tiny terror. She is a very happy child! No problems what so ever but will terrorize a room in 2.2 seconds. When it is time to clean up, there is very few problems with that! But she's a very active child who loves to play outdoors. She is looking forward to winter now so she can build a snowman!

Enough of me and the family!
